In recognising this, PSS has become more effective at striking up relationships with commercial partners which benefit both parties.

Adopt PSS as your Charity of the Year
Every company relies on a hardworking and innovative workforce. Many companies spend time and resources endeavouring to build team spirit and commitment. Adopting PSS as your chosen charity is a great way to do just that.
Sponsorship
Sponsorship is generally different from a donation of money because your business gets something in return. Sponsorship of a PSS service leaflet, a publication or fundraising event, can help you reach your target audience and communicate a positive message to them.
Employee fund-raising
A partnership with PSS can help motivate and assist in staff development and team building. According to research, 87% of employees believe that a company that supports society and community is probably a good company to work for. (Source: Business in the Community 1997). Employees could be involved in a variety of ways: PSS Party Day, sponsored events, corporate social events. Employees can also create their own fundraising web page, to promote the event and collect sponsorship through www.justgiving.com
Donation of Office Furniture
Having a refurbishment and don't know what to do with good functional pieces of office furniture? Phone PSS and we will arrange for this furniture to be collected at your convenience. We are always grateful for donations of desks, filing cabinets, etc., again allowing us to save money on purchasing such items which can be redirected on direct services.
Staff Volunteering
Today, employee volunteering is playing an increasing part in many corporate partnerships. Encouraging staff to volunteer at one of the many PSS projects can contribute greatly to team building, staff motivation and personal development. Many local companies have used this opportunity for a team challenge to decorate a room, makeover a garden, provide toys and gifts for disabled children at Christmas, etc.
Gifts In Kind
If any of your suppliers donate prizes or merchandise to you, maybe you could forward donate to PSS. We can use most items as auction or raffle prizes.
Advertising
A chance for PSS and your company to be publicised in each others literature. This is a good opportunity to inform local audiences of the commitment and support that you are offering PSS. Similarly, a link on your website to ours and vice versa, press releases sent to the local media will help inform audiences of your support.
