Meet the members of the new PSS Leadership Team.


Chief Executive

Lesley Dixon


PSS - CEO Lesley Dixon



Lesley graduated from the University of East London with an Honours Degree in Business Studies. She has held positions as Chief Executive at students unions at King’s College London, the University of North London, the University of London and the University of Leeds.

Lesley is also a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and also has Chartered Management status. Lesley also has an honorary doctorate from the University of Leeds.

Lesley is a trustee for MIND, the leading mental health charity for England and Wales.

Paul Harris

After gaining a number of qualifications in Public Administration, Paul gained an Honours degree in Housing from the University of Salford, which he followed up with a Management Diploma from Liverpool Hope University. Since then Paul has gained qualifications in Strategic Leadership from the University of Warwick and Personal Finance with the Open University.

Paul has held a number of Managing Director posts within the private and social housing sector and was a trustee for PSS before joining its Leadership Team.

Paul is currently a volunteer Board member of One Vision Housing Association, the largest social housing provider in the borough of Sefton. He is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, the Chartered Institute of Housing and is a graduate of the Common Purpose programme.



Director of Finance

Alison Ryan


PSS - Acting Director of Finance Alison Ryan



Alison studied at the Emile Woolfe College of Accounting and successfully qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Before joining PSS Alison was employed as an accountant at Bresnan Walsh Chartered Accountants.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Chartered Management Institute, as well as being a Member of the Charity Finance Directors Group.

Deborah Woodgate

After graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Debbie went on to gain an Honours degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Manchester. Since then she has gained a Certificate in Executive Coaching & Leadership Mentoring with the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Debbie has held a number of positions in Human Resources including Head of HR at the Learning Skills Council and, being a Kiwi, has spent time working in New Zealand. In the past Debbie has been a Trustee of Vision Support and the Manchester Womens’ Electronic Village Hall.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
